In episode #17, I confront an issue that seems all too common amongst large organisations trying to deal with this thing called disruption. Far too often, the response is isolated initiatives or projects, with defined start and end dates, that don't have clearly defined objectives, aren't embedded into the broader organisational BUs, don't tie in with performance metrics, make little funding or resources available to explore ideas beyond an initiative and ultimately amount to nothing more than theatre with no tangible long-term value.
