In this midweek bonus, I speak with David Cropley, an Associate Professor in the School of Engineering at the University of South Australia. His main research focus revolves around creativity and innovation - both in technological and other contexts. Among his interests is also Malevolent Creativity - that is, creativity in the context of crime and terrorism.

He is the author of four books including Creativity in Engineering: Novel Solutions to Complex Problems, Creativity and Crime: A Psychological Analysis, The Dark Side of Creativity and Fostering Creativity: Diagnostic Approach for Higher Education and Organisations.
